Reflect on your organization's culture in the context of the six Culture Vital Signs: Psychological Safety, Innovation, Inclusion, Resilience, Burnout, and JobSatisfaction.
Write a narrative highlighting your organization's strengths and weaknesses in each vital sign.
Ensure to denote elements from the curriculum within your narrative and any methods you’ve used to assess and quantify the strengths and weaknesses.
For each Culture Vital Sign, propose at least one recommendation for improvement. This could be a practice to start implementing or a behavior to stop.
Ensure that your recommendations are actionable and aligned with your organization's overall goals.
Share your narrative reflection (don’t forget to include your culture's strengths!) and recommendations with at least one colleague, ideally including your supervisor or manager. You might consider socializing your reflections with a colleague or two before sharing with your supervisor or team leader.
Consider recording an informal presentation video to share your findings and proposals, enhancing the impact and visibility of your work.
This can be shared with your team and/or supervisor for their review. We’d also love to review it, too, and give you feedback on your observations and recommendations when we get together
Outline an action plan for each Culture Vital Sign based on your recommendations.
Include practical steps for implementation and any resources needed.
Solicit feedback from the colleague(s) or supervisor with whom you shared your narrative and action plan.
Reflect on any insights gained from their feedback and consider how it might influence the implementation of your recommendations.
Submit your narrative reflection to the Instill team and schedule a time to review your summary findings
